Balmain Cup 1965

Five clubs contested the Balmain Cup at Perisher on September 18 and 19 - Cooma, Guthega, SMA, YMCA and CAC, with Cooma the host club. Cooma carried off the Cup.
The club's best performers in each event were Dave Bennett in the Langlauf in 21 min. 5 sec, (it is understood that a constant spur to Dave's effort was the thought that Anne Dudzinski might beat him!), Karl Schiller in Giant Slalom in 72.6 sec and Karl Erett in Slalom in 129.9 sec (fraught with misfortune according to captain Bagnall).
