Ski & Snowboard Sale & Expo – May 11, 2019

The ACT Ski & Snowboard Sale & Expo is held every year on the second Saturday in May at the Former Transport Depot in Kingston.

The Sale & Expo is a great opportunity to buy and/or sell new and preloved snow sports equipment at bargain prices! Our friendly volunteers are on hand to give guidance on your purchases.

Local retailers will be selling new and ex hire gear on the day and members of the public is welcome sell their pre loved equipment as well.

All proceeds from the event go toward supporting our local snow sports athletes, programs and events.



WHERE: Former Transport Depot, 21 Wentworth Ave, Kingston, ACT

DROP OFF EQUIPMENT TO SELL: 12.00pm – 7.00pm Friday May 10 2019

SALE & EXPO: 8.30am – 1.30pm Saturday May 11 2019

During the Sale there will be Ski Tuning Demonstrations and a BBQ selling drinks and food.


WANT TO SELL? – Community Sellers Information

Members of the public are invited to sell pre-loved ski and snowboard equipment, including skis, snowboards, boots and winter clothing at the Ski & Snowboard Sale & Expo.

Drop off sale items to the Former Transport Depot, 12.00pm to 7.00pm on Friday May 10. They will then be labeled by our volunteers and put on display for the Sale on the Saturday. There is a charge of $2 per item lodged into the sale. We take a 25% commission if your goods are sold. You will receive a balance by cheque within 2 weeks of the sale. Any unsold gear must be collected after the Sale on the Saturday between 3.00pm – 4.00pm. You can ring us during this time (3.00pm – 4.00pm only) to check that you have goods to be collected before coming in:

The Ski & Snowboard Sale & Expo attracts recreational and experienced snow sport enthusiasts in the region.

Retailers are invited to be part of this annual event, with an opportunity to sell new and/or ex-hire equipment and products in the general selling area.

The second feature of the day is the Expo, where businesses can promote their product and services to the families and community visiting the sale.

We are offering you the opportunity to participate in the Expo to promote your organisation, business, service and/or product to the local and regional snow sports community.

You can set up a promotional area within the main selling area where you can position a table with a tent, flags, banners, brochures, etc. If you wish to sell products, they must be lodged and placed in the main selling area.

To help cover the hire costs of the facility, we ask for a $100 donation if you are setting up a promotional area at the Sale & Expo.
